In The Beginning There Was
“Adam”
Clayton
Powell,
Jr.”
With
a candid,
soul
searching
recount of
history’s
most
colorful
character,
“Adam:
The Life
And
Times…”
is a frank
and
detailed
examination
into his
personal
and
political
life.
This
one-man
show
explores
his love
of Harlem
and its
people,
his
personal
life and
passions,
his fight
in the
halls of
Congress
to abolish
segregation
and his
philosophical
and
religious
contributions
to one of
America’s
most
powerful
communities,
Harlem.
We
could
never
forget
Adam
raising
his fist
and
encouraging
Black
America
with his
well-remembered
phrase,
“Keep
the faith,
Baby!”
Reed’s
portrayal
of
“Adam”
has been
labeled,
“Astonishing!”
by Bob
Slade of
KISS FM
and Open
Line.
In
a time in
which
television
re-enactments
and
explorative
documentaries
often are
used to
tear down
history’s
great
heroes,
“Adam:
The Life
And
Times…”
will give
us a
chance to
learn
about the
positives
of this
legendary
man.
If
you’re
old enough
to have
known Adam
or you
know
someone
younger
and
unfamiliar
with his
accomplishments,
this is
the show
to see.
Come
celebrate
Black
History
Month with
Adam.

End The Year!
What a magnificent turn-out! The
audiences were near or at it's capacity for all the shows and they loved
it.
