10/19/01 When
asked
to
give
my
feelings
on
the
September
11th
Tragedies,
I
couldn't
get
the
words
down
on
paper.
In
fact
I
could
barely
speak
the
pains
that
I
and
every
firefighter,
policeman
and
volunteer
has
felt,
losing
so
many
innocent
lives
and
friends.
One
thing
remains
true,
that
we
all
pray
for
the
families
of
the
firefighters
who
lost
theirs
lives
trying
to
save
others. What
keeps
running
through
my
head
is
after
talking
with
my
firefighter
buddies,
we
all
realized
that
we
would
have
taken
the
same
actions
our
brothers
did
on
the
morning
of
the
11th.
We
lost
12
African
American
firefighters
and
all
of
them
I
knew
personally.

These
are
just
a
few
of
the
340
Firefighters
we
lost. Please
pray
for
their
families,
and
don’t
ever
forget
them.
And
remember
there
are
10,000
more
fighters
that
at
any
given
time
will
do
the
same
thing
these
men
did,
and
that
is
to
run
in
when
others
run.
Our
hearts
go
out
to
all
the
Victims
and
their
families.
Our
prayers
are
with
all
the
brave
