For Hosts, Eric Thomas and Jomo Kellman, getting the crowd hyped up was nothing new! When the time came to greet the audience at November 20th's "Hilarious Poets Contest", they represented in a way only those two can; with much energy, many jokes and crazy chemistry!

The night was like an unstoppable roller-coaster; with featured poets, competing performers and many original sketches. Poets and comedians from all walks of life, served up "Cometry" to the ever-ready audience making it apparent that "Hilarious Poets" is here to stay!

The audience couldn't help but fold over from the side-splitting antics of the hosts amplified creatively by the performing poets. The New York Comedy Club never looked better; having it's fill of talent with everything from twisted love poems, to anti-poetry poems, to plain old gibberish and it was all in fun!

One of the many highlights of the night was the original sketch, Jamaican Shaft, portrayed classically by Gang Member Nacinimod Deodee. With Shaft theme music ready, Nacinimod was in rare form, saving the day in his leopard suit, thick accent and lazy walk.

LTG also gave away Money Prizes, including 3 G's to the crowd chosen stand-out poets of the night. Keeping in the spirit of the event, the G's were printed G's ranging in size from "Lil G", "Nice G" and the esteemed "Big G." Among the winners were fresh faces, Christine, Jeff and O.G Member Ieisha Harrington.
The night of "Hilarious Poets" was a night to remember!
