Bonita Brisker

The Artistic Director of LTG's Los Angeles Company, Bonita is an Native of the nation's capitol and former Miss Washington, DC, a myriad of talents has proven to be the winning ticket for this spirited performer.  Effectively, Bonita has run the gamut of entertainment, acting, singing, writing, directing and producing numerous projects for stage, television and film.  As an actress, Bonita has garnered a long list of stage productions, earning her the 1995 NAACP Theatre Award for "Best Actress" in the critically acclaimed production of "Long Time Since Yesterday."  Again in 1996, she was nominated for "Best Playwright," on the notable play, "Feelings" which was a collaborative effort.  Also a vocalist, Bonita is currently on tour with the jazz maestro, Roy Ayers, promoting their latest CD which she co-produced.  She can also be heard on Tom Joyner's syndicated radio soap opera, "It's Your World," which airs across the country.  A long-time member of The Live Theatre Gang, Bonita serves as the Artistic Director of our LTG West Company in Los Angeles.  Bonita's axiom for life is, "Put God first, dream big and execute your desires...with that, strive to make every second of each day a joyous one.  And remember, you are what you think!"
