Lady Adeana
Adeana is the C.E.O/ President of
Submission Entertainment.
She is also the Artistic Creative Director of Un-Touched Productions.
Adeana's educational background testifies to her drive to succeed. Adeana
obtained most of her general education from the Camden N.J school system.
She later attended Edison Job Corps, in Plainfield N.J; were she earned
her
High School Diploma. After graduation from Job Corps, Adeana returned to
Camden to study psychology and philosophy. Adeana Graduated from Camden
County College in May 2004 and she is continuing her education at Temple
University.
In addition to Adeana's educational commitments, she is also committed to
the social awareness in her community. Adeana is the host of the neo-jazz/
hip-hop/ poetry show at Serengeti in downtown Camden, N.J. Her show is
dedicated to improving the social communication skills within the
multicultural community of Camden, N.J.
Adeana's performance profile is proof of her
grassroots history. She has
performed at: A Brave New World's "Soul Sanctuary" (Philadelphia, PA);
The
Five Spot's "Black Lilly" (Philadelphia, PA); Sisters' "Power 99's annual
Black Woman's Celebration" (Philadelphia, PA); The Rotunda's "Poetry
Café" (Philadelphia, PA); Freedom Theater (Philadelphia, PA);
Pearl of Africa
(Philadelphia PA); The New York Comedy Club (Manhattan, NY); The
Bursar Bar (Brooklyn, NY); The Cotton Club (Camden, NJ); Sixth
Street Lounge (Camden, NJ) and a host of other well established venues. In
addition she has also, been interviewed on Power99 FM Philly's number one
radio station. She also debuted in her first movie "Underground PD" in
August 2004. Adeana is the producer/director/ writer of "The Struggle of
Black Love" and "Ain't Nobody on Stage but Me".
Adeana received her theatrical training from New York's Live Theatre Gang,
Camden County College and she is a current Temple University student
majoring in theatre. Adeana has been trained in both backstage and onstage
techniques. She has performed in several Live Theatre Gang productions and
is currently producing "City Battles" for LTG's Tuesday night's "The
Live Spot" at the Impov.
