MICHELLE SEABREEZE
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA where she graduated with honors from the High School for Creative and Performing Arts. At present, she holds a B.F.A. from Marymount Manhattan College.
Michelle has traveled to Italy and Africa as an actress and dancer in the internationally acclaimed show Journey to Freedom® with The Forerunners International Institute Inc., where she went on to become Artistic Director in June of 2000. In 1997, she was featured in the independent film Edge City. Michelle originated the role of Marisol in the world premiere of Third and Indiana at the Arden Theatre in Philadelphia. She was also able to branch out in a typically male role as King Henry in Shakespeare’s Henry V. She has also portrayed Chona in Imperceptible Mutabilities of the Third Kingdom, and Phyllis Wheatley in Phyllis Wheatley: The African Muse- her first one-woman show. In December of 1999, she delved into the world of modeling by becoming a Canal Jean Company poster girl, which also landed her a six-page layout in Details magazine.
Her most treasured role is Maiya in Café Millineum. Michelle is also an accomplished poet, spoken word artist, and writer. Live Theatre Gang provided her with the much-appreciated opportunity of writing the monologue for Angela Davis in Great Women of Color, and of becoming the great Zora Neale Hurston. She is grateful for the many blessings the Live Theatre Gang has granted her.
Michelle would like to thank her mother for her amazing and unparalleled-support of everything she does, her father for his guidance and praise, and her siblings for being her best friends.
