A Poetic Comedy Play Series Written and Performed By Young Actor/Poets.
The first of its kind, the "Printz of Poets" is a poetic series, celebrating the many elements of the poetic scene.  It is a zany and delightful but probing look inside the mind of the struggling young urban poet and Hip-Hop Artist. Their continuous search to find an identity and purpose in the ever changing world of poetry provides many fascinating incites inside our next generation of word-smiths.  From the contrasting personalities in the mind of a poet trying to make it, to the break down of poetic slams and its deconstruction of the poetic word, The "Printz of Poets" is something you don't want to miss!

Check out "The Battle Of The Slam", the next installment of this wonderful poetic phenomena.  The Printz of Poets has been hailed by the Village Voice as a "Provocative, verbal whirlwind... an eye-opening experience."

The Return Of The Printz of Poets
It's back and funnier than ever!  Though it was only an excerpt of "The Printz of Poets II, "it was off the hook.  Written by Jomo Kellman, "The Battle of The Slam" represented this Sunday in the Hater-thon.  Featuring great poetry and hilarious jokes, "Battles", examines the crookedness of the poetry slam and the poets who fall prey.  The actors were all wonderful and the stand-outs were Chilli Most as the treacherous "Uncle Kootnoot" and Shaquan Young as his Hype Man, Belly Button.  As usual LTG hit up the spot and we had a special treat when Director Ah-Keisha McCants joined the cast of "Haters; Could You Please Be Quiet" as the angry lesbian.  The show was off the hook and everyone represented to the fullest.  Don't miss out!  Only a few more shows to go, so get in the house and be ready to laugh! Also, be sure to catch the "Haters" crew live this Friday morning May 16th on the radio. Several members of the cast will join Jeff Fox and Bob Slade as they simulcast live from Modells at 42nd street between seventh and eighth avenues. The Gang will be doing excerpt from the show and interviews in front of a live audience.  So if you're going to be in the area come on down and check us out or tune us in at 98.7 Kiss FM at about 7:45 in the AM.
